Then you’ll be able to apply Luminous Gear to your troops via the Barracks and begin building your battalion of Tier 5 fighters. Invest in research for your Ranged, Cavalry, Infantry and Siege types to get them ready. Now you might be able to craft Luminous Gear, but it’s all for naught if you haven’t researched one or more troop types up to Tier 5.
